(extending the vital force – prana)
Life is the period between one breath and next. He who breathes correctly acquires control of the whole being.
— “Hatha yoga pradipika”
Life and breath is intimately connected. Our whole life is entirely dependent on breathing. But we are rarely aware of our breath. Improper breathing leads to insufficient prana This leads to many illnesses.
At Meiyogam breathing techniques is differentiated as Swasyamma and Pranayama. Pranayama is higher breathing practice which requires much discipline. Swasyamma is the basic level of understanding the correct method of breathing and associated practices. When the difference is understood pranayama becomes more effective and beneficial. Pranayama happens at a more deeper level after many levels of evolvement.
Meiyogam’s unique contribution is bringing to light the difference between Pranayama and Swasyamma. As the intensity of pranayama happens in us the quality of our life will definitely change towards superior quality. Our insight will definitely change and with enhanced Prana, manifestations will happen. When the flow of Prana is smooth and free flowing our evolvement in life will be sustained.
Meiyogam understands that mere breathing itself can lead one to higher realms of life. So, has designed unique pranayama techniques from classical texts that will work on every layers of the individual.
Pranayama will open all the blocked energy channels and make the Prana flow smoothly. Mind becomes calm, focused, energetic and happy.
